hello, ciao, hej
Allow me to introduce myself: I am Isabella, and my pronouns are she/her. Within these pages, you’ll find a glimpse into the world of a design unicorn—otherwise known as a multidisciplinary designer.
Being versatile and embracing different disciplines is profoundly rooted in who I am, not only in what I do. I am tri-lingual, effortlessly switching between English, Danish and Italian, relentlessly curious, endlessly taking courses, participating in workshops and learning new disciplines, whether embarking a journey on business skills for designers or immersing myself in the fascinating world of martial arts.
I am a versatile designer, successfully and passionately navigate across various disciplines with purpose and expertise, uninterested in labels. My skillset spans across multiple domains of design:
- Crafting visually attractive designs backed by design principles, solid research and data.
- Applying usability and accessibility principles to all deliverables.
- Shaping brand identities across various touchpoints for a delightful and consistent user experience.
- Defining a design language, including an accessible component library, design tokens, usage guidelines and patterns, which is leveraged by other designers within my organisation to achieve cross-platform consistency.
- Knowledge of front-end coding, including accessibility requirements, which is key to my efficiently working in a collaborative environment with developers, architects, product managers and other stakeholders.
- This broad skillset enables me to lead the accessibility efforts within my organisation. I have built a complete training program, to equip teams of designers, developers and testers with the skills to build completely accessible products, for the sake of ethics as much as in accordance with international legal requirements.
A team player at heart, I value feedback and collaboration. I am lucky to work with some incredibly talented people, who I learn from every day and who know me as not only someone good as what she does, but also committed, reliable and accountable: I deliver quality work and respect deadlines. I am proud of having achieved significant milestones, earning “Outstanding Performance” evaluations in my yearly assessments.
Beyond my design endeavours, I am a passionate globetrotter and avid consumer of books from design related to spy stories. I practice martial arts and fencing, adore strawberries and prosecco and find solace in laughter.
